HR Advisor DACH

Get ready to make a real impact in a certified B Corp as our new HR Advisor by becoming the go-to person for all people related matters related to our store staff (currently around 200 people) working throughout the DACH region.

 In our team of HR Advisors, each person is responsible for their own region(s) but positivity, integrity, a strong eye for detail and passion for people is something that definitely characterises us. We are looking for someone who shares these characteristics but also adds their unique qualities to strengthen the team even more.

 This role is full time, immediately available at our headquarters office in Amsterdam and reports directly to our VP People (Monique Frant). 

 You'll be...

  • A trusted advisor for the Regional and Store Managers in the DACH region 

  • Working on different projects with your other colleagues from the People team to keep improving our services and procedures

  • Driving people-related initiatives, provide insightful data to guide decision-making, and provide proactive solutions

  • The first point of contact for answering all HR related questions from our DACH employees and management and offering operational support:

    • Drafting contracts, change letters and other relevant employee documents

    • Supporting payroll by preparing the monthly changes and collecting all relevant documentation (e.g. joiners, leavers, changes, absence tracking) and processing these changes in our HR system HiBob

    • Keeping up with changes in social legislation for the DACH region, translating them to our handbooks and policies

    • Proactively notifying and advising managers about people related matters, e.g. ending contracts, new laws & policies, sickness rates & protocols, health & safety compliance

You...

  • Have 0-2 years of relevant experience in an HR related position where you worked with social legislation and general HR (administrative) processes, preferably in an international environment

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other relevant field

  • Have basic knowledge about German employment law, retail specific is a plus

  • Are native in German and fluent in English (knowledge of Dutch is a plus)

  • Are highly organised with the ability to prioritise multiple functions and tasks while managing your work time efficiently

  • Are creative and tenacious in improving processes and making sure how we can simplify and optimise while creating great experiences for our employees

  • Affinity with the scale-up culture and comfortable in a fast changing environment
