Buying Coordinator

Get ready to make a real impact in a certified B Corp as our new Buying Coordinator.

You will be part of the Sourcing, Merchandising and Planning team to ensure timely delivery of our amazing frames and other products. As we’re continuously building and improving our processes along the way, we're looking for an enthusiastic Buying Coordinator to support this growth within the company.

This full-time position is immediately available at our Amsterdam HQ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong relationships with our suppliers. Facilitate smooth communication and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the production process.

  • Place orders, track production, and oversee administration to ensure the prompt delivery of high-quality products. Strategically coordinate with suppliers to push or pull forward the purchase order schedule, maintaining our target availability and central stock level.

  • Administer the stock of packaging materials, placing necessary orders as required. This includes managing the stock of spare parts, non-sellable items like screws, and gift cards.

  • Oversee shipment procedures, including the inbound shipment process, invoice processing, approving shipping quotes and shipment modes, and reviewing pre-shipment inspection reports.

  • Take responsibility for master data management, ensuring all data is accurate, up-to-date, and readily available for smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Any experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management is advantageous.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritise based on urgency.

  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Experienced with ERP systems is a plus.
