In this role you’ll play a key role in shaping a positive employee experience across our stores—especially in our key markets, Germany, UK, The Netherlands and Belgium. You'll be the first point of contact for our store managers and employees, providing essential support on a range of people-related and operational topics.
This role is available starting as of July (an earlier start can be discussed), for 32-40 hours a week at our headquarters office in Amsterdam. You’ll be part of the People team and report into one of the People Partners.
You'll be...
- The first point of contact for all first-line HR-related questions from employees and store managers (mainly via mail)
- Providing hands-on operational support, including: drafting contracts, change letters, and other employee-related documents
- Supporting payroll by preparing monthly people updates and gathering relevant documentation (e.g. joiners, leavers, changes, absence tracking)
- Maintaining and updating our HR system HiBob
- Supporting retail with the Workforce Management System Tamigo which they use for scheduling and working hours and leave registration (e.g. correcting timesheets, processing special leave requests, updating the system).
- Proactively updating managers on key people matters—such as contract expirations or new legislation and policies
- Assisting the People Partners with research and team projects
You...
- Bring some work experience, ideally in HR operations; experience in retail is a bonus
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Are fluent in English, German and/or Dutch is a big plus
- Are detail-oriented, highly organized, and never miss a deadline
- Take pride in delivering a great employee experience
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment and embrace change with a can-do attitude
- Experience with the HR system HiBob or WFM system Tamigo is a plus
What's in it for you...
